You probably never noticed the Google MINI Search at the top right of my site. It wasn’t much more than a tweaked google search with “mini” added to the keywords. Well now, in Google’s quest to always make things better so they can take over the world, they’ve allowed me to create a better MINI search. Thanks to Google’s new Co-op search feature, I can specify web sites and keywords to restrict the results to. And now it’s actually useful!
You can search for information, news, even products mini-releated, and the results will now only be returned from MINI web sites. For example previously if you searched for “skirt” you got results for miniskirts. Now you’ll get results on aero kit side skirts. You can further restrict the results to Forums, News, and Shopping sites depending on what you are looking for.
If you want you can bookmark the search page for your own use. You an also get code to embed it into your web site. Give it a try!
Very slick 🙂
