On Friday, I had my third windshield installed. The above crack had been growing all winter long, but I wanted to wait till the sand trucks and potholes were gone before putting on some nice fresh glass. This time I brought it to Sublime, who personally look over the glass guys who install it, and they did a great job. I was sure to quickly apply Aquapel this weekend, which I discovered just after getting the last windshield.

I hope your Aquapel doesn’t invite more rain! 🙂

Are you installing dealer glass (with th little mini logo) or 3rd party glass? Any idea if there is a quality difference?
I’m on my third windshield now with my 2007 Cooper S. Wondering if I should keep requesting dealer glass or go with what they would normally put.

I have a 2005 mini and my 3rd windshield will be installed tomorrow. Is this a big problem with Minis or just bad luck ? .The first 2 were after market not dealer installed .Averaged $235.00 . This one will be through the insurance. We,ll See how long this one lasts !!!!

great site Intersing tips and modifications. I,m runing non-runflats Falken tires Rides much better and a K@N typhoon air intake with a MOMO shift knob. Very stock otherwise. 2005 S . I also removed passenger side Muffler and repiped to driver side with OutMotoring Exhaust tips. Looks and sounds much better than stock
